Wallpaper Wednesday!

Metallic is hot right now!  Just open any type of fashion magazine or shelter magazine and the papers are adorned with metallic jewelery, make-up, lighting and of course interior elements.  Silver metallics, gold metallics and even rose gold metallics are equally present throughout and are extremely eye catching. 

A few years back MDC Wallcovering introduced an amazing line of metallic foil papers.  The combination of large scale prints and classic textures comprise this collection.  I have used this particular pattern in one of my clients home right off their entry in a cozy little niche that is their powder bathroom and WOW what a statement it makes.  The space is small and intimate.  Adding a punch of metallic has set this room off and has created a dramatic conversation piece that has made this gem its own little jewelery box.

Powder bathrooms are the perfect place to add bold and graphic patterns and materials.  The interest and drama that is created when using such items will add a layer of dimension and unexpectedness.  Why not dress up the bathroom and create a "jewelery box" for all of your guests to enjoy.
